Milton Lodge Rest Home

Who We Are

Milton Lodge is a very personal and family orientated Home in Fleetwood, catering for residential care of the elderly and offers accommodation to a wide range of ages from the young 55+ to the young at heart 100+, offering short term holidays, short term and respite care and long term permanent placements.

Milton Lodge is a large detached property that has been sympathetically converted to create a unique residential home for the elderly. The home is set in its own grounds and has on-street parking available. In the 1930s Milton Lodge was a private fee paying school. The school was purpose built by the Bailey family. Milton Lodge is well known locally as the ‘’old maternity hospital’. It was a maternity hospital from 1944 to approximately 1979. A number of our residents and staff either had babies at Milton Lodge, or were born here.

The home is fully equipped to meet the individual needs of its residents, whilst retaining a homely and inviting environment. Milton Lodge is ideally situated in a quiet residential area and is situated directly behind the Mount. The home is convenient for a short stroll to the local shops, the market or to the sea front.

Offering rooms for just 21 residents, we believe our home is the perfect size; large enough to provide all the facilities and services our residents require, small enough to retain a personal and homely feel.

Families and friends play an important role in life at Milton Lodge, helping to make the home a real “home” for our residents. We have an open-door policy, meaning residents can have visitors whenever they choose.

Making the decision to move to a residential home is never taken lightly. Choosing a home with the facilities and an environment which suits each individual is extremely important, which is why we encourage you to visit the homes and ask us questions.  Some future residents like to come along for a short stay first to see what life at the home is really like. We find this helps them to make the decision, removes the fear of the unknown for them and gives families peace of mind that their loved one is fully involved in decisions about their future home. We invite prospective residents to spend a day with us free of charge before making the final decision.

At all 3 homes, we are proud to say that we hold multiple awards for our work and efforts. Over the years, we have established ourselves as three of the most reputable and welcoming care homes on the Fylde thanks to our dedicated team of staff and of course, our lovely residents.

Why Us?
We are a family business, placing family values at the heart of everything we do. We believe this is reflected not only in the care we provide but the caring environment at all of our homes. Real friendships and strong relationships between our residents, with our staff and amongst extended family and friends characterises all of our homes.
